Product Description Feliway (Comfort Zone) spray and diffusers prevent cats from urinating where they shouldn't. This fantastic new pheromone Feliway spray or diffuser duplicates the smell of a cat's natural scent glands. Cats will not soil anything close to where Feliway has been sprayed.Containing the synthetic scent hormone, the plug-in diffuser allows the Feliway scent to permeate throughout the environment. Each plug-in will cover an area of 50 to 70 square metres and lasts approximately four weeks. Alterations in the cat's environment such as visits to the vet, moving house, new arrivals, or nervous cats may manifest themselves as a change in behaviour such as urine marking, scratching, loss of appetite and refusal to play and interact. The diffuser helps to restore a feeling of calm in the cat. Early feedback on this product has been very positive, particularly for nervous cats.Contains one electric device and 48ml vial. NB: If cat urine marks several rooms (with total surface area of more than 70sq.m), use an additional diffuser in one of the other rooms which have been marked.

Feliway didn't work March 9, 2010 Celeste Lamosse Feliway didn't work for my cats. If anything, it enticed them to spray more. I guess nothing works for every cat, good luck.
Love the product but getting this shipped to me is taking too long! March 5, 2010 Deanna (Dallas, TX) I love this product. I've seen a big change in my siamese cat. The first time I placed an order with this company, it was great because it shipped within 2 days. This time, however, I ordered it on Sunday and as of tonight (Thursday) it's still not shipped and isn't expected to until next week, possibly on Tuesday. I think that is a little ridiculous that when something is in stock that it takes over a week just to ship it out not to mention the time it will take to actually arrive on my door step. With this experience I probably won't be ordering it again through this company!
Therapy for cats February 21, 2010 Ms Sparkle (New York, NY) I adopted a cat that's very skittish. She wasn't socialized when she was little (no human contact till 10 weeks or so), so it's been difficult getting her to relax around me.
My vet recommended Feliway, and though in principle, I'm against the idea of Prozac for cats, I thought I'd give this a whirl. It's been 24 hours since I plugged it in, and I can see a vast difference already. Skittish Cat (SC) is out and about and vastly more friendly than before. We've even had a petting session face to face i.e. it didn't involve me extending my arm all the way (until it nearly falls out of its socket) under the sofa to pet her face.
Remarkable.
SC clearly knows there is something different in the air - she looked a little uncomfortable about it last night - but seems to have settled into the pheromone bath pretty well today. Like I said, I'm not thrilled about resorting to chemicals, but I have to say it's working pretty well.
feliway for cats February 20, 2010 P. Clarke (Wallingford, Ct, US) not sure if it works because I haven't had it long enough to make an accurate assessment, but I use it at our animal shelter and at home. at home I have 2 feral cats and they have been coming into the open space areas of the house more often, so I think it has been making a difference.
at shelter, I'm hoping the cats that are confined feel better, not easy to tell. we have one "sprayer" that continued to spray. I do think it has also made a slight difference with the cats as far as being less nervous.
can't really say definitively, if it works or not, but I believe it does make somewhat of a positive difference.
Didn't work for us. February 15, 2010 Bookworm When a friend married a man who is deathly allergic to cats, we adopted 2 of her cats. Unfortunately, my anti-social cat did not like the 2 newcomers. Although she did not like them, she would only hiss at them. Recently, one of the adopted cats started swatting and chasing my old cat. A friend, who is a vet tech, suggested Feliway. We bought 2 diffusers and a bottle of the spray. One of the adopted cats started peeing on my daughter's changing table if she was unhappy or mad with us. Our vet suggested that we use the spray on the changing table. Didn't work. She went and peed on the changing table again a few hours after we sprayed it. The diffuser doesn't seem to help relieve any of the aggression between cats either. They've been plugged in for over 3 weeks now. I don't think we will be buying refills for our diffusers.
