We bought this for our cats, who tend to "spray" here and there in our home. A week after using this product, the cats didn't spray at all! It's pretty expensive stuff, but less expensive than getting your carpets replaced! Worth the money.

This product is amazing! I buy it 6 bottles at a time (3 mos supply) here on Amazon and absolutely cannot live without it! I have an elderly female (18 yrs) and adopted a 7-yr-old female from the shelter last November. I tried to introduce them s-l-o-w-l-y and with great care but, oh my, it was cat-fight-central for weeks and I was despairing that it wasn't going to work out. Then I heard about Feliway, bought two bottles at a local store, plugged them in immediately and within 24 hours the fighting began to cease. It's been 9 months now and, while the girls aren't buddies, they are very calm and have learned to tolerate each other. No more hissing and spitting! Now, I will say that when I see that behavior return I just go check the units and sure enough they'll be dry as a bone. As soon as I plug new ones in it's just a matter of hours before things begin to return to peace. I will never be without this product regardless of the price, it's just that good!

I used these plug ins when one of my cats started to spray an area in my living room. I just pluged it into the outlet closest to the affected area, as well as a few more around the house. The spraying stoped immediately. It is amazing how well they work. I only wish they were more affordable. However, Amazon does have the best prices on these that I have found. If it weren't for the high cost I would use these near my cats sleeping area all the time, as well as a few throughout my house on a constant basis.

Although my cat is on medicine for her stress, I purchased the feliway's on the recommendation of my vet. I am not sure which helped--the med or the feliway. At any rate, the only "con" with the feliways is that the plastic seems to burn when the liquid is very low. Currently, I am trying just the med to see if that works without the plug-ins. There isn't any odor to the feliway, which is a bonus.
