I really wish I had found this product years ago, as the Furminator de-shedding tool has made my life much easier. I own an 11 yr. old black lab mix and found myself having to vacuum every 3 days because of the amount of dog hair trapped in the carpet. I recently got tile and I thought it would be better, but sitting on the couch reading I could see large tumbleweeds of hair traveling across the room.
My neighbor turned me on the the Furminator, which he got at a pet store for four times the price of this vendor, who gives you two for a super low price. Life is GOOD!! I use the tool once a week and the amount of hair I get from our dog rivals the largest anthills I've ever seen with each use. My dog seems to like the tool as well because he will sit still while I am using it. I'm sure he is much cooler as the Texas summers are very brutally hot. He also looks better and seems much happier.
Of course I still have some dog hair to vacuum, but it is a small fraction of the pre-Ferminator days. I highly recommend this product and the value that this vendor gives as having two has made it easier to find one when you need it.

This is the best "brush" for pets that I've used. I have a Shnoodle and Schnauzer and this easily gets rid of hair that would otherwise find its way all over the house. The dogs don't seem to mind it much, either, which is unusual.

Wish I'd known about this 2 years ago when I first got my Yellow Lab. Can't believe how great this tool is. My dog likes the combing, it takes minutes, you can watch TV while doing it and does it ever work! I used to have clumps of hair all over my house, and I could grab fistfuls of fur from Reggie's coat - now, Wow! If I try and get some fur off of him I (maybe) end up with about 3-5 hairs. My floor is staying fur free.

I am very pleased with the product it works great on my yellow lab. It removes dead and loose hair without shaving or coming close to his skin. The tool has a very comfortable handle and is easy to use.

My old yellow lab, who likes to be brushed, rolled his eyes & moaned with rapture when I used the furminator on his skinny body! My 6 year old basset, who hates to be brushed, actually liked it & went "belly up" for me in no time at all. However, the best part of all was that it really does a great job of getting off that undercoat hair. I didn't realize how much stuff was lurking on the basset's body until I went over him. I love this product & so do my critters.
